"The Wolves Are Always Out for Blood" – After Jenny and Cassie learn the truth about Cody’s fate, they decide to officially team up to track down Ronald. Cassie in this episode

Cassie is visibly shaken by shooting Legarski and is being questioned by the sheriff while the missing girls are being looked after. Jenny arrives and wonders about Cody but Cassie tells her that there are no signs of him. Later, his car is found with his body in it. The next day, Cassie visits the sisters to get some more information and afterwards runs into Legarski's wife Merilee and the two talk about Rick and what he has done. Later, Cassie gets interview by the Sheriff about the shooting and it's not something she takes lightly even though she shot the bad guy. She goes out for a ride to get her mind off of things and hallucinates Cody which gives her some comfort. Later, we Cassie and her family attending Cody's funeral and things between Cassie and Jenny are a bit awkward because neither knows how to act around the other but hopes that Jenny won't push everyone away like she did when her husband died. Cassie and Grace have a conversation. Grace tells her that she wants to help find Ronald which Cassie appreciates. Jenny starts singing Cody's favorite song and croaks after only a few lines, so Cassie goes up to support her and later Jerrie joins them and they sing for Cody. At the end, Cassie is in her office looking at all the leads they have on Ronald and Jenny walks in. Cassie asks her if she wants to take on Cody's place and help her run things. Jenny agrees for just this one case but Cassie doesn't believe it will stay just the one case.
